Georg Winkler    clarinets

"I received my musical formation as a classical clarinettist at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and have been working for many years as a free musician and music teacher. Some years ago I had my first encounter with the world of Klezmer music, and ever since this music has fascinated me deeply and taken up great part of my time.

Through intense studies of this music, I have discovered a totally new way of conceiving and performing music, which enriches also my activity as a classical musician in orchestras as well as chamber music ensembles and gave me back a new pleasure of making music.

My theoretical occupation with Klezmer music, my research about background information and about the entire whereabouts finally led me to write a thesis about Klezmer music".

Peter Aradi    contrabass

He is the Hungarian soul of our group, with a lot of gypsy feeling, the calm balancing pole in our Trio. His musical studies he accomplished in Hungary and in Austria. Many pieces of music he hears already before they are even played. He is a hot blooded, temperamental musician...
